Supporting the people who are driving change
Creating meaningful change within an organization takes more than expertise and a good strategy. It requires people who can stay engaged, navigate complexity, influence others and keep moving when progress is slower or more difficult than expected.
For people working on sustainability, climate and the green transition, social impact or organizational transformation, this can be particularly demanding. The work often combines ambitious goals with competing business priorities, limited resources and challenges that cannot be solved quickly.
Ultimately, Sustain your Energy. Sustain your Impact. is about making the work of change itself more sustainable – not by asking people to become better at coping, but by understanding what enables them to stay engaged, work effectively and continue making a meaningful contribution over time.
It is an interactive team resilience workshop and training exploring what enables people and teams doing this work to remain effective, motivated and engaged over the long term.
Rather than treating resilience or employee wellbeing as primarily an individual responsibility, the workshop looks at the wider picture: what happens within us, between us and around us.

From personal resilience to sustainable ways of working
One part of the workshop focuses on our individual experience of working in demanding and complex environments.
Participants explore what gives them energy and what drains it; how they respond to pressure and competing demands; where boundaries become difficult to maintain; and what helps them recover, regain perspective and stay connected to what matters.
This is not about adding more self-care tasks to an already full agenda. It is about identifying realistic practices that support workplace resilience, energy management and long-term effectiveness.
Depending on the context, topics can include:
- personal energy sources and drains
- pressure, overwhelm and change fatigue
- boundaries, workload and recovery
- purpose, motivation and agency
- practical habits that support sustainable performance

Looking beyond individual resilience
There is a limit to what personal resilience can achieve when the environment itself is draining people.
The workshop therefore widens the lens to explore how team dynamics, leadership and organizational culture affect people’s capacity to do good work.
Do people have meaningful influence over their work? Can they speak openly when something isn’t working? Do ways of working support collaboration and recovery, or unintentionally create additional pressure? And what role do leadership, recognition and psychological safety play?
This moves the conversation beyond “How can I become more resilient?” towards a more useful question:
“What conditions help people and teams remain engaged, effective and able to contribute over time?”
This is particularly relevant for people working on sustainability and transformation, who are often influencing across functions, navigating competing priorities and trying to shift systems they do not directly control.

Adapted to your team and organization
Every team operates in a different context, so Sustain your Energy. Sustain your Impact. is not a fixed, off-the-shelf program.
The workshop can focus primarily on personal resilience and sustainable ways of working, or go further into team resilience, psychological safety, organizational conditions and sustainable leadership. Content, exercises and format are adapted to your team’s needs, from an introductory workshop to a more in-depth facilitated session or training.
The aim is not to place responsibility for systemic problems on individual employees, but to understand what affects people’s capacity – and where meaningful change is possible.

What participants and teams can expect
Depending on the format, participants leave with:
- greater awareness of what supports and drains their energy at work
- practical approaches for managing energy, pressure and recovery
- a clearer understanding of personal patterns, needs and boundaries
- insight into how team dynamics and organizational conditions influence wellbeing and performance
- a shared language for discussing workload, motivation and sustainable ways of working
- greater awareness of the role of psychological safety, agency and leadership
- concrete opportunities for change at individual and team level
